Absolutely not. It is illegal for anyone in the UK to use the title ‘Chiropractor’ or to imply that they are a Chiropractor unless they are registered with the General Chiropractic Council. This statutory body
- checks people who apply for registration to make sure that they have a Chiropractic qualification and are of good character and are physically and mentally fit
- sets and monitors standards of education and training
- sets standards of practice and conduct
- deals with any complaints about the conduct or practice of Chiropractors.
The Chiropractors at the Belfast Chiropractic Clinic also have membership with the British Chiropractic Association which is a highly reputable and supportive professional body which provides excellent postgraduate education events and through which we have our professional indemnity insurance.
