She is passionate about the using food to improve health and prevent illness. Having overcome her own health problems with the help of nutritional therapy, Claire knows first-hand the impact changes to diet can have.
Using a holistic approach, each client’s unique needs are taken into account and individualised plans are developed. Nutrition plans and advice are based on the latest nutritional science. Claire is a registered member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC), the British Association of Nutritional Therapy and Applied Nutrition (BANT) and the Nutritional Therapists Organisation of Ireland (NTOI).
Claire’s approach to nutrition and wellness is underpinned by the principles of naturopathy – that all systems of the body are interlinked and that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right conditions.
As a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Claire uses a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows Claire to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help support the body towards maintaining health. Nutritional Therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Claire works with clients on a range of health conditions including: acne, autoimmune conditions, insomnia, menopause, diabetes, digestive issues, cardiovascular issues, fatigue and chronic fatigue, poor immunity and mood dysfunction.
Passionate about food, Claire loves preparing meals that are delicious and good for you. She runs a successful FreshStart 28-day healthy eating programme and her blog, Eating for Health, is regularly updated with healthy recipes and lifestyle advice.
